Sorry Everybody

Son Chris in Thailand points us to the Sorry Everybody site.

Chris said, "It's where people are posting their apologies to the world and the world is posting back. There are some great pics on there. It started with one guy posting a picture and has now grown to 2,500 and counting and has gotten more than 20 million hits. Now, I'm not apologising to anybody, but the site did make me feel better -- i'm not sure why?"

I think it makes us feel better by reminding us how many people cared enough to vote for someone other than GWB, and how many people care enough about other people to take the time to share their expression of sorrow.

When you get to the site, click on gallery to see more pictures. Here is the link:

There is supposed to be a counter site called werenotsorry.com, but I just checked and it is registered but does not seem to be up yet.

The site was up a few days ago, but is seems to have disappeared. They are probably redoing it, because it was pretty rinky dink at the time.

You can see the spirit of the posts on werenotsorry.com by looking at the posts on a site like Free Republic.

Here's a sample: "Outstanding! I was hoping a site like this would pop-up and parrot that idiotic loser apologetic Dem site.

Note to the rest of the world: We'll elect whomever we dam well please, so just go STFU!"

Ooh, insightful.

How about: "That site that is saying "sorry to the world" is so anti American its horrible.
Think of it, my gosh thats so outrageous I think all our ancestors are turning in their graves.
Thats NOT satire or funny thats just plain....words fail me.

Fellow Christians we need to pray to heal this country."

Well, I'll get right to it.

The Seattle Times had a half page of pictures from the Sorry web site. They say the man who started the site, James Zetlen, is a native Seattleite.
